ODBC driver and NFS

I'm running Informix SE on SCO 3.2 and the UNIX box is connected to a NOVEL 4.10 network via LAN workgroups. I have an Intranet running on the NOVEL system and would like to access the Informix db on the UNIX System. If I NFS mount to UNIX Drive and instal and ODBC driver on the NOVEL system, can I them access the Informix db? Kate
