You must restore from Archive. Sorry. If you do not have logging on your databases or do not back up your logs to tape or disk, I would suggest that you unload any tables that may have been updated since the last Archive first so that you can recover new records. If you do have logging and saved our logs just restore and roll forward the logs. tbtape/ontape/onarchive/onbar can all handle this for you. You might want to search the system administration logs for the source of the corruption. Bad disks, controller failure, power failure, hackers, F**K ups, multiple instances on the same machine which have accidentally been assigned the same disks are all common causes. Art S. Kagel Art S.
