Esql/c Error Diagnostics

Hi. Users.... My env.. Informix OWS 7.20.UC2 Esql/C 7.23. I am using the diagnostic area to find the result of my last executed sql. EXEC SQL get diagnostics exception 1 :message_text = MESSAGE_TEXT, :message_len = MESSAGE_LENGTH; It returns the message perfectly, but not the Length of the message. Most of the time its lenght - 10. Can anybody check this and find out please..... Thanks in advance. Regards, Praveen Mohanan.
