Environment variables? document_root

Hi, I'm working with cgi in a project at my company. I'm trying to access files in my cgi-program at my server, but a problem arises. It's no problem to access files if you map up a path at the server, but if you want to move the whole project you must do some changes. I can't get the document_root path in Informix cgienvstruct.
