Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hello,
I can't get PSORT_DBTEMP to take.
No matter what I do, even bouncing the engine.
I set the environment variable in the ksh
export PSORT_DBTEMP=/dbtemp
The permissions on /dbtemp are 777.
onstat -g env and also the OS env command show that the PSORT_DBTEMP variable is set to /dbtemp.Yet still, when I try to create this huge index, it sorts in /tmp ( the default ).
Any ideas why ?
Thanks,
floyd
