Hi, What is the difference between SHMADD and EXTSHMADD? We know the meaning of the SHMADD onconfig parameter. Thanks, Khaled Bentebal ConsultiX Email: khaled.bentebal@consult-ix.fr
Hi Khaled, EXTSHMADD is the size of shared memory that you would add for a datablade that requires a VX segment. Previously SHMADD handled both, but obviously that could result in a lot of memory being wasted on a datablade. ----- Original Message ---- From: Khaled Bentebal <khaled.bentebal@consult-ix.fr> To: ids@iiug.org Sent: Monday, October 2, 2006 9:54:29 AM Subject: SHMADD and EXTSHMADD [7572] Hi, What is the difference between SHMADD and EXTSHMADD?
