SQL/Database Starter for New Company

I've been asked to pass along a great business opportunity for a new database company. A couple of guys have put in a very scholarly six man years in developing another ANSI standard SQL engine. Now that this product has matured, the founders are faced with a growing customer base. Realize that this is a couple of guys supporting an SQL with the functionality of Informix SQL and ESQL for C. It has come to the stage for these guys to sell the farm, just so they can have a life again. This opportunity is prime for the picking. They truly have a product that in the right growth oriented hands could compete with Informix's, Oracle's, and Sybase's. It took the 600 site largest pharmaceutical application in Belgium and plugged right in, replacing the Informix ESQL/C foundation that they had initially linked to. I have to believe that at this early stage, this product could be obtained for a relative steal. And I also know that the founders are offering any agent 20% of the buy-out price. Does anyone have the slightest lead? Anyone that can help to actual consummation of a deal will be remunerated. Mail to bdoug@netcom.com.
