I am trying to do the exact same thing. What is the error message that you are getting? I can link a Unix Informix table to Exceln 97 (on NT 4.0 Service Pack 3) but I get an error message from the ODBC driver when I run an ASP page (IIS 3.0) regarding "locale Categories" Have you tried passing the username and password in the ASP file? Such as: Set conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection") conn.open "DSN","USERNAME","PASSWORD" Thanks, Ann Will Linea Technology, Inc. ann@infonow.co.uk
