Hi Christian, First of all, I presume that you are talking about HDR and not Enterprise Replication. In this case, the secondary server will always be in "recovery" mode in an "onstat - " display. This is the way "it was designed" according to Informix Tech Support, but that does not mean that your system is hanging. If you check your online log file and you see that the logical logs from the primary are being transmitted over to the secondary, you are in good shape. We have ODS 7.22 UC2 on both machines, and SCO 5.0 All Things are identical and we start with 1. an archive Levele 0 on machine A (the primary server). 2. on machine A: Log.Log Backup 3. on machine A: onmode -d primary machine_b 4. on machine B (the secondary Server): physical restore from the step-1-Backup 5. on machine B: Changing machine B to secondary Server From this point the secondary Server hangs in Recovery Mode?
