457: SQL engine terminated unexpectedly - please help

I get the above error message while performing a select statement on certain tables on an SE database (version 5.x). Can someone please tell me what it means. The "finderr 457" and the SE manual did not provide any usefull information. Is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance Phuoc Ho NCIUG
