Re: How difficult is it to export data in Informix?

Thanks, All they told us is that it is an Informix database running under Solaris by Sun. The applications are rather simple, until recently the entire process was done by hand. The database is only used a couple of days a month and then only between 8 and 5 so kick-out time is no problem. They have a total of about ten different reports they produce and when they produce them all they do with the report is print it to read, file, or mail. And, I know of no other applications that access the database I just can't imagine it is as big a task as they are making it out to be but since I don't know Informix I'm not in a position to say so.
