Informix Level-0 (restore ?)

RE: Informix backup/restore, DLT4000 tape drive, HP70, HPUX9.04, Informix 5.3 Tape Device [/dev/rmt/3hc ] Block Size [64 ] Kbytes Tape Size [30000000 ] Kbytes Our Level-0 backup use to take 10 hours (DDS), we now have the DLT4000, Level-0 backup =3D 2 hours. On the backup and restore on the DDS took the same amount of hours. On the DLT4000 the backup takes 2 hours and the restore takes 5 hours. Does anyone know why the restore is taking longer than the backup? and what can be done to bring the restore down to 2 hours, which is the same as the backup. Or... is this normal for the DLT's for the restore to take longer? Thx. in advance for your time and suggestions, Eve
