Of course we've had all racist comments removed from OUR manuals, and that line reads: separators Comma or colon (no white space) :-) Yes, that WAS a joke. ;-) But if DBSPACETEMP environment variables are not being used, my suggestion is that either the configuration parameter hasn't taken effect yet or was ignored for some reason. Question 2 is a specific issue on DG (I haven't seen it on HP) where SHMMAX must be at least 8Mb before error 22 goes away.
