ONARCHIVE

Can anyone help with some basic problems I am experiencing using ONARCHIVE / ONDATARTR. Basically, I am using ONARCHIVE to create a two volumed backup - 1 = rootdbs, 1 = maindbs. I am then using ONDATARTR to restore these cold on to a secondary server of a replicated pair (simulating a restore after a secondary server crash). Following this the servers are reset to replicate (onmode -d [prim|sec] .....), however, the secondary crashes - every time. Using the standard ONTAPE features works properly every time.
