Hi, I am in the process of porting C,XMotif code, running on Sybase DBMS, to Informix DBMS. Both the system are on Unix. Sybase is on Sun OS using C shell while Informix is accessed via NEC terminal & uses K shell. I am new to Informix and would appreciate any information regarding the steps involved during such a conversion process. The data doesn't need to be ported as I can use the relational tables in Informix itself, but it is regarding the code that I would like more information on. The C code uses dynamic SQL to create tables and also uses Sybase trigger facility.
