hi, still, about IER, if you remember, i have configured 2 servers for a primary-target replication with IER. Server1 is IDS 9.40UC5 on Aix 5.3 / 64 bits and is the secondary server Server2 is IDS 9.40UC5 on Aix 5.1 / 32 bits and is the primary server what happens if i perform a physical restore on the primary ? must i reload consistent datas on the secondary and then restart IER ?
Hello, I'd like to hear what others my answer for this issue. I would've: 1. Stopped/dropped replication on the secondary 2. Restored the primary 3. Depending on how I felt the secondary was different from the primary, possibly restored the secondary 4. Redefined and restarted replication between the primary and secondary But this is cumbersome. I'm interested in if there is a better way of doing this also. Thanks.
