Can't drop a chunk! Need help!!
Posted in 1997
I made a mistake about 1 month ago... I created a chunk with an offset of
100000 but the size of 10024. This created a 10 meg dbspace with 100 megs
of unusable space!! Nothing is in the second chunk but I can't drop it
using
onspaces -d rootdbs -p <path>/rootdbs2 -o 100000
I'd really like to drop it and create a new chunk. Does anyone know of an
alternative to using the onspaces command. I'm running Infomix OnLine v7.x
on an SGI IRIX 5.3 server. I looked a the sysmaster tables for clues as to
where the chunk data is stored but it's too confusing. Any clues??
Thanks in advance...
