Java install_jar, remove_jar question
Posted in 2005
This feels like a stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answer.
A user installed a jarfile with the sqlj.install_jar procedure, and it
works find. Now I would like to modify the jarfile, but I can't get the
engine to let me remove or update it.
If I type:
execute procedure sqlj.remove_jar('drop_table_jar', 1);
It tells me the jar cms_stg.dconrey.drop_table_jar doesn't exist --
which is true. Instead it's called cms_stg.auser.drop_table_jar. But if
I put in:
execute procedure sqlj.remove_jar('cms_stg.auser.drop_table_jar', 1);
It gives me a syntax error. I have tried variations on this theme with
no success. I finally had to track down the user and get him to do it.
Does anyone know the syntax for this?
Oh, and I'm running IDS 9.40.FC5 on AIX 5.2, if it matters.
Thanks.
