Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I know that, Art. But if I haven't SDK, then I can install an ODBC to
informix and use the DBD::ODBC instead of DBD::Informix.
I'm looking now for Johnathan recomendation, trying to get SDK free for
SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 (and informix 7.2x). Or a binary version of perl
with DBI::Informix for SCO OpenServer 5 and informix 7.2x.
My original question was some kind of twisted (weird?) thing.
The data flow that I imagine was:
perl <===> DBI <===> DBD::Informix modified <===> dbaccess or
fglgo_modified myinterfacetosql.4gi
connecting the DBI thru pipes to dbaccess or a program in 4gl.
Thank for your time (and Johnathan's also)
