Agreed. Even better have a script to set up the neccessar enviroment
variables and call it from both places:-
/etc/rc2.d/S99informix :-
. /home/davew/online.live
oninit
/usr/informix/.profile :-
. /home/davew/online.live
Remember you can use
. <shell script name>
to run the script WITHIN THE CURRENT SHELL i.e. set enviroment
variables....
