There's no other processor for the >process to migrate to! Correct, but it's make sure that the OS takes this into account. i.e. NOT flushing the MMU mappings as often. It is another hint to the OS since you do not often get multi-CPU OS's like modern unix behaving differently with one CPU. They work the same regardless of the number of CPUs.
