genxml bladelet compilation issue

I am trying to compile genxml bladelet provided by Jacques Roy on AIX running IBM RS6000 and facing some issues. I have not installed DBDK on this machine and first of all do I need DBDK installed?. When I am trying to compile its looking for make include file. Seems like make include file is platform specific and will this file be present after installing DBDK?. What is the include file it's complaining about? Most bladelets have a README so what's in that? Under solaris you usually get make errors, which ones can be ignored are usually documented.
