setnet 32, ilogin, & dbpath

I am setting up Informix-CLI on a win 95 machine connected to a SCO Unix server with Informix-SE 7.14 I think I have everything set up OK. When I go to the ilogin program to check my connection, I get the message that the database is not found on the server. I called tech support and they told me to set the dbpath on the win 95 side although they were unsure of the exact syntax of it. I have tried various syntaxes but with no success.
