remote site no longer valid

Hi, we have SAP system under Informix(7.31.TD1X2) and through SAP exc SQL open a remote conection to another Informix DB (9.20 UC1). evry so often we get the message -934 Connection to remote site no longer valid Has anyone an idea ?
