sql syntax

I am having trouble with the following sql statement: create table reside (reside char(35), address text , htype decimal(6) ) I guessed type might have been a reserved word and so changed it to htype. Might address be a reserved word? Where in the manuals do I find a list of reserved words or can columns have any name? Please email replies as I might miss any posted...
