ODBC drivers

All, Ok I know there has been *plenty* about on this subject recently. I however did not save any of the discussions (or read all of them). I would however be interested in answers to the following questions: 1) Which ODBC drivers are the best ones? 2) Which should be avoided at all costs? 3) What are their limitations of use? 4) Any problems with SQL error handling? 5) What sort of PC configuration is required (memory, cpu) to run them effectively? 6) Any network considerations that should be taken into account when using them? Currently we use I-NET on the PCs to interface with informix programs, we are looking to use ODBC to interface to Visual Basic applications. Mark
