If you have four buffered logging dbs and one non-buffered logging one that gets a lot of activity, the non-buffered one can be negating any benefits from the logging ones by forcing writes everytime it needs to do a (nonbuffered) write. Otherwise, I agree with all the other suggestions. Let us know the results.
