How should I configure INFORMIX?

Hi, I have instalation with 2 RS/6000(AIX4.2) sharing the same raid disks array (~16GB). How should I configure Informix on such systems to use both RS/6000 machine? Where should my application reside? Where should Informix Server reside (on single machine or on both)? I will use Informix7.2?
