All the full message is displayed as: *** put loadcur 1263 - A field in a datetime or interval values is incorrect or an illegal operation specified on datetime field I am using Informix 9.30 and Solaris 8. I have tried to import this database onto the server that the export was done from (changed it's name) and 2 other servers running the same OS/Informix version but all the while I get this same error. I have looked at the archives of this group and I gather that the solution will be found in the .unl files - but how can I tell which ones I should be looking at to attempt to find the wrong entry? Thanks for any advice you may be able to give. D.

Check dbimport.out to find out where it stopped. Find out from sql file
what is the
name of the unloaded file. Check how many records you have in the newly
created database in that table. The messy row is somewhere "near" that
number in the unl file. Fix it using editor (if possible, watch the size) or
fix it in the source and dbexport again.
