I graduated last May with a BS in Computer Science. I took a database course, using Ingres, which taught me the basics of SQL and embedded SQL programming in C. I was hired in July as an Oracle DBA/Programmer. It was through work that I learned how to use SQL*Forms, SQL*Menu, SQL*Plus, and Pro*C, etc. So its not always necessary to have years of experience to get a job using Oracle products.
