iconnect 2.80 bug ?!

Hi, I have a problem using informix connect 2.80 TC1 (windows) : blank strings are now view a null when sent as stored procedure or sql update/insert values it worked fine with the 2.50 TC3 realease (our DBSERVER version: IDS 9.31) it seem there is a BLANK_STRINGS_NOT_NULL string in the environment variable but i dont find it in the 2.80 iconnect setnet32.... any help suggestions would be appreciated.
