tblspace does not exist

Hi informix combattants ;-) I encountered a new problem, really nasty and annoying. I have: INFORMIX-OnLine Version 5.00.UC1 Thu Jan 9 19:27:54 PST 1992 From times to times my 4GL application crashes and it says: Program stopped at "cl_stat.4gl", line number 245. SQL statement error number -242. Could not open database table (svb.cl_tab). SYSTEM error number -135. ISAM error: tblspace does not exist Also tbcheck finds no tblspace any more :-( and the manual tells me to do a recover from archive. It is only one table (and it is the same table every time, no matter how the database is created). I can't get rid of that table, I try drop table cl_stat, it says I can't. Well, I say rename table cl_statto fasel and it says there is no table with that name. Oh, great I say create table, but then it will say it redecided and the table is still there. I have do reinstall all databases from tape ... everytimes. Did I mention that happens three times a week? Good grief... any hints? and how can my program cause such a damage, it is plain 4GL, only SQL statements, but heavily relying on the automatic rollback on exiting without a commit, but that should be no problem, I hope. Accessing the database through isql works stable or at least seems to. Hopeless but not desperate ;-) -svb. -- Sebastian v.
