Richard, If your looking for a cross platform graphical tool, look at GQL Reports (www.andyne.com). It allows you to create a graphical desktop of pieces of your database. You set up table joins so that the user does not have to know the relationships. Click on a graphical table and select columns to report or build criteria, Save these querys as buttons on your desktop. It will let you connect to any database and can run on any platform. It is a very nice product...
