(The BLOB's are word doc's, MS project doc's, and Excel spreadsheets. Is it is possible on Unix to designate a directory as a virtual directory, (i.e it only exist it memory), so that I can extract the file from the database, write it to the virtual directory and then pass it to the browser? Any other suggestions that would allow me to move a BLOB from an RDBMS directly to a browser? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS ATTACH TO THIS COMMUNICATION This material is intended for the named recipient only and has been created solely for the purpose and function of Livestock Improvement Corporation Limited and may contain information that is subject to the Privacy Act / Confidentiality / Privilege / Copyright.
