It, too, only concatenates files together, but it understands the concept of an RDS library made up of multiple files with only a few functions in them. A similar program could be written in perl (or your choice) to maintain and search these libraries for existing functions and unresolved references. I, for one, would definitely be interested in such a linker if it was fast. Mike Lemon
