App builder errors under W95 for NewEra 2.2

In article <hL3HlCANJ+L0cB00@excelsis.co.uk>, Tim <tim.simpson@excelsys.co.uk> writes Thanks everyone. I have sorted this out now. Here is the fix. What it needed was a few entries in system.ini for the ixserver.386 and also an entry in win.ini to load this device driver on windows starting, something like LOAD=c:\\informix\\bin\\ixserver.exe Once I did this everything worked. Well, nearly. The appbuilder seemed to not stop on errors when it was making a project. Informix knew of the problem and I fixed it straight away. The problem was with nmake.exe v1.4. Works fine under WFWG but has a problem under W95. To fix it you download from microsoft nmake.exe v.1.5. WARNING: This version is a 32bit version and you cannot replace nmake.exe ver 1.4 for WFWG. Rename nmake.exe to nmake15.exe can copy into the directory c:\\msvc\\bin Then change the nmake utility option in your appbuilder(NE2.2) on W95 to use nmake15.exe All is well. Now I can use NewEra 2.2 and NewEra 3.0 under one OS. (W95) Bye for now Correct spelling in 'excelsys' to 'excelsis' for e-mail.
