Hi Craig, At work I run a BarCode Blazer off a Unix box. The printer is hung off our Digiboard c/con-16. I believe the price is around $300 to $500. We print an average of 1000 tags a day and it has held up well (thermal transfer printer). Unfortunatly, it doesn't have a lot of nice fonts, but does have different point sizes, boxes, and rotated text. We print labels from our Informix db using 4gl. Hope this helps!
