Dbspace Question.
Posted in 1998
Hi, I'm sure of the 6 dbspaces assigned to a perticular database. Also I'm sure that no other tables from any other databases are residing there. When I drop that database and look at the chunks, I get the following output. 99d04108 35 20 0 1000000 998796 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx4 99d041e0 36 21 0 1000000 998897 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx5 99f66e70 104 21 250000 250000 249997 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx_c 0d7 99d042b8 37 22 0 1000000 998897 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx6 99f667b0 96 22 500000 500000 499997 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx18 99f66f48 105 22 100000 150000 149997 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx_c 0d7 99d04390 38 23 0 1000000 998597 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx7 99f67020 106 23 500000 250000 249997 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx1 99d04468 39 24 0 1000000 998497 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx8 99d04540 40 25 0 1000000 998297 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx9 99f66a38 99 25 0 500000 499897 PO- /dev/ps_links3/infx14 I'm curious about the free pages in each chunk. Most of them show 3 used pages. Some of them has different number of used pages. Why is this ? I want to drop these dbspaces. So before doing that, I want to know about 'em. Thanks in advance.
