Troubleshoot Deadlock Errors

Hello all, I am having problems with a deadlock error in one of my 4gl's. ----------------------------------------------- Program error at "payout.4gl", line number 205. SQL statement error number -346. Could not update a row in the table. SYSTEM error number -143. ISAM error: deadlock detected ----------------------------------------------- I have tried to write my apps so that within transactions, they follow the same order of insert, update, etc. Is there a way to find out the other program that caused the deadlock? Is it possible that switching from page level to row level locking can influence deadlock errors? If one program is lock mode wait 10 and the other is 20, would that effect which program gets the deadlock error? Thanks in advance. Olaf
