I thought I remembered reading or hearing at some point that there were some special settings for IDS 11.5 in order for it to function well on a VM, but I can't seem to find any references. Am I right in remembering or am I crazy, or both? It was informative, but I was hoping more for like: "When using IDS in a virtualized environment your onconf file should have these vm specific settings set this way" Jonathon Wyza CX & CBORD System Administrator CX Programmer/Analyst Administrative Computing Bethel College (574)-257-3381 AIM: Iamwyza jonathon.wyza@bethelcollege.edu ============================== SLES 11x64 & IDS 11.50.FC6 "Don't document the problem, fix it." - Atli Björgvin Oddsson -----Original Message----- From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of Alexandre Marini Sent: Tuesday, August 17, 2010 7:44 AM To: ids@iiug.org Subject: Re: IDS on a virtual machine [20947] No, you´re not crazy... lol There´s an excelent material on the Informix Chat with the Labs page, check it out ok?
