Informix recommended that we do the following: Change snmpd.cnf to alter the line trap test2 192.147.142.254 to trap public <ip address of HP-Openview server> and change the entry in acl.pty from 17 17 1 3 nonVolatile to 17 17 1 19 nonVolatile We sort of have SNMP working although there are still problems - too many traps, sometimes traps aren't sent when the Online server is brought down HTH Gavin Convery Standard Chartered Bank UK Online 7.22 etc...
