size of BLOB with NULL

Hallo Wenn in einer TABLE ein BLOB-Feld enthalten ist, dieses aber nicht bzw. mit NULL gef'llt wird, wird dann eine entsprechende Page angelegt oder nicht? Und in welcher Gr''e? How large is a BLOB-field in table if i creat a row and the field has the the Value NULL or is not filled. Could anybody help me?
