Dianna, If you're certain that you have Informix privledges on the table to update, then make sure that when you created the data source using OPENLINKS ODBC driver, that you did not select READ-ONLY as the database selection type. Also, I know it is impossible to update a table using a view on another server, so check that out! Good luck, if you find a solution, write me. Cliff
