It is mostly written in ESQL/C, with plenty of EXEC FRS calls, which is the Ingres equivalent of calling PERFORM from inside C programs. From my initial reading of the manuals, Informix seems to work the other way around, with C functions called from PERFORM. Any suggestions on how best to approach the conversion? One more question: is there a PERFORM equivalent to Ingres "table fields"? Thanks for any advice. Bob Marcus rdm@mvuxn.att.com
