You should find a good write up in the FAQ, but here is the low down. 4518 error is Informix getting lost when using its internal temp string space. When this happens (possibly anywhere in the program), other things that use the temp space will slowly eat it up until you run out. Chances are that the place of the runtime error is not the source of the memory mangler. There are code fragments to help you isolate the source of the problem by executing something that will blow immediately instead of after a few hundred lines of your report, but you are better off starting by checking for the things known to cause problems first. I must admit, however that the code bomb is how I eventually found my problem. If all other checking fails, the code bomb can be found in the FAQ, or I can email you the code.
