ANYBODY USE INFORMIX INET 5.1 ? with ODBC Driver...

I was using Informix SE 7.1 with INET 5.01 with intersolv odbc drivers for a VB 4.x Client software. The problem I am having right now is with INET 5.1 that support DBCENTURY and Informix SE 7.24 with new odbc drivers from merant, :: "ANY" date sent thru INET 5.1 to the database return and error code "1024" (And of course, it is a new code to Informix...) I have tried to connect with my old INET 5.01 with new odbc drivers and eveything is working just fine. Any idea why any UPDATE or INSERT statement with date will not work with Informix INET 5.1???
