We are considering candidate with a minimum of 5 years database administration experience, excellent knowledge of Informix, Sybase knowledge a definite plus. Must be flexible, adaptive to situation and environment. Sense of humor definite plus. Company has recently begun a reorganization due to a recent merger. This merger has made this company the only supplier of chemicals and mineral products to the paper industry. Sales were last measure at 1.6 billion. The company is migrating to a new client server evironment, so this system will be created from the ground up. This position is NOT a 9-5 job as the selected candidate will be developing the applications as well as administering the database system. It require excellent verbal/written communication skills.
