Re: JDBC level 4 driver for informix

Joe! I can't believe you didn't find anything in 2 days !!!. Here are some companies that have developed Level 4 JDBC drivers for Informix. http://www.connectsw.com http://www.konasoft.com/products http://www.sas.com/rnd/web/java/jdbc/index.html And if would like to get the Big picture, point your browser to : http://java.sun.com/products/jdbc/jdbc.drivers.html Great Product! I have downloaded and used the RmiJdbc , which converts any jdbc driver including the jdbc-odbc bridge to a true Level 3 JDBC. Find it at : http://dyade.inrialpes.fr/mediation/download/RmiJdbc/RmiJdbc.html And it is Free! My opinion: I always try no to use the Level 4, it really ties me up to the database vendor. I think the Level 3 is a more flexible solution. Enjoy!
