I have a Universal Server 9.12.UC2 "running". I have had
problems with archiving using my Tandberg MLR1 tape drive
(by the way, does anyone know how to configure such a drive
for Informix?).
One of the result of this is that one of my dbspaces was
corrupted during a failed restore, and I can't get anything
from my archive tapes.
How can I remove all traces of the databases that were
located on the "lost" dbspace? I have tried the FAQ, with
no success. The manual only states that you must drop all
databases and tables from a dbspace before dropping it.
The command
drop database <databasename>
answers:
311: Cannot open system catalog (systables).
102: ISAM error: illegal argument to ISAM function.
