Re: My Informix stocks

Clay These kind of things may happen with any vendor. I think it would be very blueeyed to believe it will never happen with some other vendor. Of course it shouldn't happen. It's due either to some major screwup by some Informix people or something wrong in their systems. I doubt it is in their systems, but if it is I would expect it to be corrected now. As for our experience there have been some much more minor problem of this type here as well, but they where allways elegentaly and rapidly handled by our sales representative. I am extremly happy with the products, the support, the sales people and everything related to Informix here in Norway. Actually I don't know of any company that handle these things as well as they do, and I have been in this bussiness quite some time both as a vendor and customer. clay@panix.com (Clay Irving) wrote: :In <3478FF87.B70A37A9@NOSPAM.King.of.MyDomain.NOSPAM.Segel.com> Michael Segel <Mikey@NOSPAM.King.of.MyDomain.NOSPAM.Segel.com> writes: : :>Me? :>I'm bullish on Informix. :>Their problem had nothing to do with the engine or their product line. :>It has to do with the sales/support process. :>Bob F. seems to have that under control. : :I wish! -- We bought INFORMIX Online 5.x with an application several :years ago.
